Must Try!! Reyes Boneless Chiken Barbecue!!

My mom is a great cook but her viands are not usually through grilling, but my Auntie Norie who raised me for almost ten years is the expert in cooking even if it is grilled or just buy the stove... She has this so tasty Grilled Chicken Honey and Pork Barbecue that i haven't tasted from any Restaurants,, My high school and college friends love it... even my Boss asked for its secret recipe.. For its meat are so tender, juicy and tasty....But now, my Nana Norie (as what i  call her) is having a vacation in the states...I missed her Chicken Honey so badly...

Last June 2009, me and my friend Jayson went to Divisoria Mall in Manila to buy some souvenirs for my niece's Baptismal, together with my cousin who also drives Nana Norie, when ever they go to Divi..

Jayson told me that I should try Reyes Barbecue for Lunch, he said that they have this peanut sauce that is so so good , haha, and so Reyes Barbecue it is, we ate their and ordered Three Boneless Chicken Barbecue, Jayson even bought 2 bottles of Peanut sauce..The chicken was so tender, tasty, savory or juicy if a may call it, serving size is good enough,, First time i tasted it, oh so yummy,,, promise.. you have to try it..When i went to Mega Mall i also ate at Reyes Barbecue and last night, when i went to SM Bacoor, i was so happy when i saw the new Branch of Reyes Barbecue their, i even texted Jay and told him about it.. I dont have to go to MOA just to have their special Chicken... and guess what.. Kuya Richard said that whenever they go to Divi, Nana Norie also eat at Reyes Barbecue...haha,,, Ahm maybe people with good taste, know where the good place is hahaha...

Try it..It cost 120.00 only.. its worth the food ..

My Pork Embutido

Pork Embutido is a Filipino Style Meatloaf, made by mixing all ingriedients , wrapping on a foil and steaming..
Here is my own recipe of  the Pork Embutido, I usually make embutido during our  Fiesta and Special Occasions like birthdays...

Ingridients:

1 Kilo of ground pork
1 can luncheon meat (chopped into small pieces)
10 pcs. regular size hot dog, chopped into small pieces
1/2 cup of cheese
1 carrot( Minced)
4 medium size onions
50 pcs. hard boiled quail eggs
5 tablespoon flour
3 eggs
small packed of sliced bread (cut into small pieces)

pepper
salt
Foil for wrapping

Prepare a steamer and set aside.
On a bowl, mix all the chopped ingredients, then the cheese, sprinkle good amount of salt and pepper, beat in the three eggs, then the flour, check if the flour and the egg combines with the meat mixture.

Line the Foil, put on a desired amount of meat mixture then put some boiled egg at the two ends and at the middle, then with your clean hands roll the foil covering the meat mixture tightly packed. into 2' diameter and 4inch long..

Put the embutido into the steamer and steam it for about an hour.

You can either put it on the refrigerator for the meat to get harder before slicing, or Fried it before serving..

Yansky's Creamy Carbonara

Hi i would like to share with you the recipe of my "Creamy Carbonara", i've been cooking this dish since i was in High School and my friends really love it...until now.. I've gone into using different recipes but this is the most flavorful and cheap ingredients I've tried so far...

Ingridients:

1 kilo Pasta of your choice (Spaghetti or Fettucine)
1 cloves of garlic minced
2 medium size onions
1 pack of sweet ham (chopped in smaller piece)
1 Nestle all purpose cream
2 knorr cubes
1 cup of cheese (grated)
1/2 cup of milk
4 tablespoon of all purpose flour
(it depends on how thick and creamy you wanted your sauce)
5 cups of water
 1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of oil for pasta
and some salt

First thing to do is to boil an equal amount of water for the Pasta, Put 1/2 cup of oil and some salt on the boiling water, Put the Pasta and wait for it to cooked..( The oil prevents the Pasta to be sticky and the salt makes some salty taste on the pasta when cooked.

While Cooking the Pasta on the other Pan, Saute the onions then garlic, then saute the sweet ham, Put on the All purpose cream, on a hot cup of water dilute the knorr cubes and mixed it on the pan as well, let it simmer, add the all purpose flour, add the four reamining cups of water, simmer it for 3 minutes then add the grated cheese.. let it simmer again and wait until you got the desired creaminess and thickness of your sauce..

Rinse the Pasta with cold water when cooked,..
Put some on a plate and Pour some sauce!
Voila!! Creamy Carbonara!!
Simple as that!
